UCL: Rodrygo Returns to Real Madrid for AC Milan Clash
Real Madrid striker, Rodrygo, will feature in the matchday squad that will face AC Milan in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash tonight, Tuesday 5 November.
On 22 October, the 23-year-old Brazilian international sustained a hamstring injury during Real’s UCL match against Borussia Dortmund.
As a result, he was forced to sit out the El Clasico against FC Barcelona four days later. Barca went on to beat Los Blancos 4-0.
On Monday, 4 November, Real released the list of players set to face AC Milan at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. Among those listed is Rodrygo, who was spotted training briefly with his team-mates the day before (Sunday, 3 November).
With Rodrygo’s inclusion, Real Madrid may be hoping to redeem themselves on home soil following their defeat at the hands of Barcelona. Will they prevail over their Italian visitors? As always, watch this space!
